VividFront is seeking a highly driven and well-rounded Digital Marketing Director to join our team in Cleveland, OH. As the Director of Digital Marketing, you’ll be expected to lead marketing campaigns, from strategy development through execution to ongoing performance analysis/optimization. If you are a creative and analytical marketer who understands it starts with the audiences and customer – we want to hear from you!

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have proven experience executing holistic digital marketing campaigns. We’ll request case examples demonstrating your experience leading holistic strategies that leverage paid, earned and owned channels in unison. We’ll also want to hear examples of specific campaigns that were fueled by your unmatched creativity and platform expertise. While certifications are always handy checkboxes, we’re looking for a leader that “leaves it all out on the field”. The majority of our clients are growth stage businesses that have tasked our agency with helping them to scale up revenue. Expertise in managing resources and budgets to propel growth is critical.

We have big goals for our agency and are looking for a passionate leader who will set a vision and plan to achieve them. This is your opportunity to re-develop the paid acquisition arm of VividFront’s digital marketing team from the ground up. We want to give you the rope to lead, so you will recreate the vision, redevelop the processes, and improve scale of execution. In order of importance, we’re looking for someone to spearhead and perfect our agency approach for the following paid acquisition buckets (primarily for DTC / eCommerce clients):

  • Paid Search
  • Shopping
  • Media Buying (Social, Display, Programmatic, Remarketing/Retargeting)
  • Forecasting & Weekly/Monthly Pacing Updates
  • Advanced Data Architecture and Analysis

Hard Skill Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional strategic digital marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Experience working on evolving brands, including working with designers and technology teams
  • An SEM, SEO, Display and social media advertising expert
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar advertising budgets
  • Experience designing and executing proven revenue growth strategies and new customer acquisition programs
  • Customer LTV analysis & growth-cost modeling
  • 5+ Years of programmatic expertise, both managing and activating
  • Experience optimizing creative: copy, graphics and video
  • Technical Tools and Media platform Knowledge: 3rd party bidding tools, DSPs, SSPs, RTB, Ad Verification, etc
  • Proven track record of successful digital marketing campaign management using strong analytical, creative and problem-solving skills
  • CRM experience with Salesforce (and/or Hubspot, Zoho, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of SEO and experience in organic/earned media
  • Strong writing and detailed copy editing abilities
  • Proven growth for both B2B and/or B2C eCommerce channels
  • Results-oriented with an outstanding track record of developing profitable engagement digital marketing programs, and meeting and exceeding performance objectives

  • You’re always on the lookout for the latest and greatest tactics, tools, and strategies to be ahead of the game and/or on the cutting edge of innovation

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop digital marketing strategies for clients
  • Optimize and implement best practices across all digital marketing programs, including SEO, SEM, display, mobile, video, and social, with a focus on driving new customer acquisition and engagement
  • Assess content effectiveness, and drive alignment between marketing campaign narratives, the website user experience and KPIs
  • Design and perform usability and A/B tests to increase online lead capture, profit, new customer acquisition, cross-brand utilization and other KPIs
  • Lead digital product and eCommerce site initiatives, including ensuing clear product roadmaps and guiding the team in customer-centric execution
  • Develop and lead the implementation of each client’s long-term digital strategy, customer facing experience (acquisition, eCommerce, retention) and brand
  • Own acquisition & retention marketing through digital channels, developing and scaling channels to drive new customer growth and increase loyalty
  • Lead branding initiatives to enhance value proposition across channels
  • Oversee key marketing operations processes, budgeting and forecasting
  • Provide entrepreneurial, strategic leadership to identify opportunities that will drive eCommerce success
  • Collaborate with multiple functions to develop an eCommerce road map
  • Manage team members to design inspiring content and campaigns that drive traffic and increase customer engagement
  • Use analytics to propose, by channel, user-funnel optimizations and actionable insights across a website that will be useful both to marketing leadership and day-to-day stakeholders
  • Design, execute, measure and implement learnings from A/B tests to enhance the user experience and drive deeper engagement and volume of qualified users
  • Measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and implement improvements as required, including interpreting and organizing data to drive decisions and shape strategy
  • Help identify new eCommerce opportunities, trends and technologies to manage website enhancements
  • Define and monitor metrics to improve overall eCommerce performance Plan and manage search engine optimization efforts
  • Prepare performance reports for marketing campaigns
