We’re looking for a well-rounded Senior Frontend Developer who aspires to work in a fast-paced agency. In this role, the focus is on building best in class user interfaces for our clients websites and applications. You will have the opportunity to craft engaging, cost effective solutions across a broad range of industries and work with clients from all over the world.
The Senior Frontend Developer job includes the entire process of designing the frontend application architecture, selecting the right tools such as React and SASS, development, collaboration, and thought leadership. You will be the one helping to shape our ongoing pursuit of engineering excellence and leading junior developers to build elegant and sophisticated user interfaces.
You will collaborate with our client services team and the rest of the web services team, along with UI/UX designers to help shape the solutions we propose to our clients. You will be expected to collaborate and mentor other developers in their craft and provide technical leadership to the team. It is your duty to keep abreast of the latest developments in frontend technologies and recommend ways that we can improve our processes and application scaffolding.
Education & Experience requirements:
5+ years experience as a Frontend Developer
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or experience
Experience with Rollup, Babel, and Webpack
Experience with Storybook
Experience building decoupled frontends with Next.js and a headless CMS
Agency experience preferred
Ecommerce experience preferred, particularly Shopify

Turn UI/UX designs into engaging websites and applications
Build reusable code and libraries (with accompanying documentation)
Staying up to date with emerging technologies
Solve technical problems, code and debug, and participate in client meetings.
Lead junior and mid-level developers to foster creative, focused, team oriented work environments and solutions.
Awareness of the projects your pod members are actively working on and their capacity.
Create and manage development processes that standardize VividFront’s frontend development work
Work effectively with non-technical members and clients of VividFront, as a leader on the development team.
Ability to identify problems with requirements, identify alternatives, and assist in scoping, estimating, timelining and organizing process.
Skills and abilities we desire:
Deep knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
Solid experience in using complex APIs, both REST and GraphQL, from the client side
Practical experience of client-side build/config management
Strong understanding of Git
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling
Exposure to, or experience with, Continuous Integration/Delivery. Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD is a plus
Strong unstructured problem-solving skills. Can learn quickly, pivot, and adapt to new tools and information
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to navigate conflicts and tough conversations, and to incorporate a wide range of opinions and requests within a project.
Strong time management skills to manage a busy workload
Ability to keep calm in a fast-paced environment
Exposure to full-stack development is a plus
