Green Paper Products is one of the top D2C providers in the sustainable product space. Even after over 13 years in the industry, they continue to stand out from the competition by having unmatched customer service and a large selection of eco-friendly products.

After a period of unprecedented growth, Green Paper Products asked our team to design and develop a website that connected seamlessly with other marketing platforms while still being scalable for growth, something their seven-year-old site lacked.

The Strategy:

We worked with Green Paper Products to design and develop a website with improved functionality that kept their company’s unique differentiators intact. Before determining a solution, our teams met to identify the current website’s pain points. Green Paper Product’s original custom-built .NET code website had countless custom features. However, the .net environment and non-standard languages and configurations posed a significant challenge to scalability. During the discovery process, we quickly identified that Green Paper Products had its own custom way of handling inventory, shipping, and packaging.

Additionally, their current website had excellent SEO value, so retaining this value with the new site was essential. When developing the website, we added new features, such as a blog and FAQ section to uphold and expand their strong SEO reputation. Adding additional pages of keyword-rich content would boost their overall visibility and build their trust with customers.

Due to Green Paper Product’s unique needs, a one-sized fits all solution was not the answer. Instead, we designed the new site in a headless manner that allows us to have a fully customized front end paired with the tried-and-true Shopify checkout. The CMS now being decoupled allowed our team to create a better experience for both users and content managers.

When we began this full website redesign and development project, we wanted to maintain elements from the website that users loved while improving the overall functionality and user experience. Scalability was at the core of all our efforts, leading us to take a headless approach when developing the new website. Plus, adding SEO-rich content pages assisted in our long-term strategy for growth. Ultimately, our efforts proved to be fruitful.
